Unit Flying[ | ]

Description[ | ]

Validates if the unit is at a greater height than its original/usual position. This validator does not check the mover, plane aray, or its relative ground height. In any of those case, only but ONLY if the unit rises in height higher than its original position, then it will be considered as "Flying". Modify Unit effects and Buff Behaviors contains height modifiers that can make this validator work.

  • Terran Structures that Lift off are still considered at their regular height, even if we saw them rise in height. This is explained by the fact that a Morph ability changed the unit, not the Height, so the new unit's height is at its regular state. It is also impossible to catch the structure while it levitates, it does not count as irregular height gain.

Exemple Use[ | ]

Probably useful in situation where a ground unit is being levitated by gravity or a certain force would become targatteble by the validator, while any other flying units around have to be ignored.
